Koh Doc Mai
Diving Phuket to "Flower Island". The name means flower Doc Mai Thai. On this island, however, it does not seem to be as many flowers? Pourez judge for yourself once there.
The island of Koh Doc Mai is actually a huge block of limestone. On the west side you will find a gently sloping reef. On the oposite, the east side is a vertical wall after which a multitude of marine life hangs and along which it is sometimes possible to make great drift dives. It is sometimes possibble that visibility is not at the appointment but Koh Doc Mai is a very good dive site in Phuket.
For photo enthusiasts and underwater macro in particular, this site is certainly the most beautiful and most interesting to Thailand!
Most often, diving excursions in Phuket are on the east side of the island. It contains two major caves, one with an entry of more than 5 meters. Here you will find an unusual marine life as hypocampes, muraines of white eye, sea snakes, pipefish and others. You'll find everything in Koh Doc Mai.
