Phuket, nicknamed the "Pearl of the South", is the largest island in Thailand.

The west side includes most tourist infrastructure and the best beaches. There are three major tourist areas that are Patong, Karon and Kata, but if you want to get away from the crowd, the areas of Rawai and Chalong, south, and those of Bang Tao Naithon, Nai Yang north are perfect for a quiet stay and the heart of nature.

You can dive all year round in Phuket, the monsoon season (May to November) makes the sea is rough but the days are sunny with thunderstorms in the late afternoon. To avoid the months of May / June and September when rainfall can be heavy and last for hours ...

Phuket offers a dozen dive sites, located south and east of the island, towards Phi Phi. Wreck, walls, pinnacles, coral gardens, the dive sites are accessible to all levels. Sometimes one or two mantas come to enjoy the currents of the southern tip of Racha Noi, the schools of fish swarm to Anemone Reef and Shark Point where it is common to see sharks, zebras, wildlife macro hides in crevices of the wall Koh Doc Mai, while the King Cruiser wreck host many batfish, lionfish, scorpion fish, turtles and sometimes it is the passage of a whale shark. Coral gardens Racha Yai is the perfect site for the beginner course and non-divers who want to enjoy the show with a mask and snorkel.

Most sites are shared with the island of Phi Phi, as equidistant from the two islands. There are two sites not to miss Phi Phi are the islands of Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai one. Expect to come across some black tips, turtles, schools of tropical fish, sea fans vibrant and colorful coral reefs ... housing a variety of sea creatures.
